Life after Cancer!!!

Some people are lucky in life who survive after getting this serious disease… You too must have seen such people and heard about them.In the case of Cancer, many people think that after this deadly disease or after its treatment, the people who survives , how much of their life is left or they have to say that how many more years will they live 5, 10, 15 , 20 .. This question always remains in my mind and it is also in the mind of this person who is facing this disease.Cancer has a 90% chance of recurring. That's why you can never be sure about this matter...It is believed that this is a disease that will never end.As I mentioned that my blog  is on how life is after cancer, so I want to share my personal experience with you.I had high grade lymphoma. Surgery  process was very painful, Before surgery doctor said that we cannot guarantee whether the hand will work properly or not as it would be without stitch surgery. We have no option but to say yes . The operation was done and all the nodes were removed. One node was sent for biopsy. reports of cancer have come.I am sharing my 13 years of experience on how I prepared myself mentally and physically during and after cancer treatment.


What should be the first step post Cancer treatment ?:

Your next step is to stay  positive and not think too much about the disease, this is the only thing you have to do.You've won half your battle.And this shows that there is a fighter inside you , so it's simple, stay positive and move forward.


Do strengthen the immune system:

After cancer treatment, your immune system becomes weak and there is a risk of getting frequent infections. You have to avoid infections and pay attention to personal hygiene.


Importance of Balance Diet:

After cancer treatment, it is important to focus on a balanced diet to support recovery. Do include  fruits, vegetables, lean proteins and whole grains in your regular meals . Do consult a nutritionist for advice based on your health conditions,  needs and possible side effects of treatment


Exercise/Physical activity:

Beefore doing any physical activity and exercuse t is important to consult your doctor  for  advice, but in general, post-cancer physical activity should begin gradually. Focus on activities like walking, swimming or gentle yoga. Listen to your body and go comfortably.
